Honduras Mission Update #8 E-mail
Wednesday, 06 January 2010 00:00

The team has been busy.  Yesterday was a great day as our team put on a very successful medical brigade.  We rose early and started loading up all the supplies.  Soon after that headed into Jalaca and set up the pharmacy.  Our team ran the pharmacy and gave slips to everyone.  Kristen and I worked together to share the story of of Jesus and the paralytic with each group of ten people that came.  The doctors saw each patient and their children that came.  We saw 193 people and gave out the prescriptions to each one.  We also handed out bags of baby stuff to those with little ones and each person that came got a toothbrush and some soaps and lotions.  The kids all got lolly pops.  Our team spent time in the town square jumping rope and playing soccer.  We didn't leave the site until 5pm.  Everyone almost fell asleep during dinner.  It was a long day on our feet.  I pray that the Lord would use it to bring spiritual and physical health to the people.  We leave tomorrow morning.  It's going to be hard to say goodbye to the children and to everyone else here.  Tonight will be the last update in Honduras.  Thanks for your prayers and concern.
