Biography

I grew up in the Low Country of South Carolina and received a B.A. degree in Elementary Education from Converse College in 1992.  After working as an Admissions Counselor for the college, I pursued my master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Virginia.  I met and married my husband  Patrick during this time.  We have been blessed with 3 children, Drew(11), Charlie(8), and Virginia(6).  As my husband is one of the very rare Charlotte natives, we love this city and consider it to be full of opportunity as well as very family friendly.

My favorite Verse?

Ephesians 3:20—“ Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we could ask or imagine according to His power that is at work within us, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ throughout all generations, forever, Amen.”

On my ipod?

My son has confiscated my ipod….. With the noise level in our home, I just like to be QUIET when I can be!!!

Favorite thing about Sharon?

No doubt, the community.  We take care of each other.  These brothers and sisters in Christ are the “hands and feet” of Jesus.
